Dr Kamna Bansal

Dr Bansal undertook her undergraduate training in India where she grew up. She immigrated to the UK in 2005, initially started her career in Genito Urinary Medicine and holds a Diploma in GU Medicine from Society of Apothecaries . She graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Dermatology from King's College London in 2013 .During this time, she trained at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital's - St John's Institute of Dermatology, which is one of the oldest and largest clinical dermatology departments in the UK. Her first post in Dermatology was as a junior doctor at Amersham Hospital. Following this, she worked as a Dermatology Registrar at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading before joining North Hampshire and Basingstoke Hospital as an Associate Specialist.

She has a special interest in Vulval and Paediatric Dermatology and leads these services at the Basingstoke Hospital , she also runs a complex Vulval
Clinic with the Gynaecologist at the hospital.

She does skin cancer diagnosis and surgeries as she has completed a number of surgical skills courses .She has a keen interest in managing chronic skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory conditions. She also runs patch test clinics at Basingstoke Hospital.

She lives in Reading with her husband and 2 children, and in her spare time loves going on long walks and enjoys music .
